TimeEventDetails

Boys soccer ? There will be mandatory practice after school (3:30) for those who missed this morning due to road conditions or alarm clock failures.

Congratulations to Chloe Harskamp and Cade Bleeker for winning the March drawing for the Writing Center! If you would like your name entered into the April drawing for a Culver?s or Dairy Queen gift card, schedule a session with a writing tutor. For more information about the Writing Center, see the tutoring page on Canvas or talk to an English teacher or writing tutor.

Western Iowa Tech will be here TODAY at 10:00.

From the nurse:
9th/10th/11th grade athletic physicals: All students planning to participate in sports, including dance and/or cheerleading in grades 7th ? 12th need an athletic physical. Requirements: Students may receive their physicals from a ?physician, surgeon, nurse practitioner, physician?s assistant, chiropractor?. Both medical clinics in town keep the form on hand. There are also forms in the HS office. Please send the form to school so the child is ready to start the first day of practice next year. Some insurances will cover a ?well-child? physical, most medical providers will fill out the athletic physical form at these visits. This is a GREAT time to get your immunizations updated as well! Athletic physicals are good for 1 year, if you do not have a physical in place, you will not be allowed to participate in your sport.
Entering senior year immunizations: All students entering 12th grade must have the meningococcal vaccine. Please check with your clinic and check if your child is up to date. The vaccine must be given by the first day of your senior year.
For questions on any of these items, please email me at sarah.tegrotenhuis@scwarriors.org.
